Is Nuclear War Coming?

With the Rhetoric rising on a daily basis, is all out nuclear war looming?
Quoted from an article on the BBC website this morning ;
"The North on Monday said any war could "only be turned into a nuclear war"."
I do understand that the US out guns the North Koreans to a laughable extent, but with the Russians and the Chinese directly involved in any conflict it could get ugly very quickly.
Is it time to start thinking about actually buying a tin hat?

This may have been done to death on here, but how can any nuclear power argue with N.Korea when they say .......
"You've got nukes, so why the fuck shouldn't we? Fuck you, we're building them so we can have the same "deterrent" as you lot."
How can anyone, particularly the USA who have used nukes in the past, say anything against that?

I take comfort in the fact that the people of South Korea still don't seem unduly worried. Saw a few interviewed on TV at the weekend. The prevailing attitude that came out was pretty much 'business as usual'.
I think there's a public dick waving contest going on primarily for the inhabitants of NK and the USA, but hopefully it won't amount to much more.

It doesn't need those countries to threaten using nukes, NK may just think of countires like Libya, who if they had had nukes, might not have been conventionally bombed into the stone age.

Now now, no need for that. I didn't try to convince you of that, I'm just wondering how the current nuclear powers could word their reasons for N. Korea not getting nuclear capability without sounding like massive hypocrites.

Six months or so ago we were supposed to be on the brink of war with Putin (PUTIN!). That fizzled out, just as this will. It's just the press trying to ramp up the drama.
